WHY BELLEVUE?

Jim Frank moved to Bellevue when they noticed a home on the market they really liked. Steve Nemmers, owner of Nemmers Realty, helped them with this process virtually as they were not living here before. They have loved their home ever since, and everything Bellevue has to offer. Jim thought it was time to add something that the town didn’t have. Something new for him, and the town which is when the idea of his business started.

THE START OF BAD ASH BBQ

Jim has been smoking his own meat and brisket for decades now. His son and wife were always there to support him as the “taste testers”. He always thought he was average, but wanted to improve his skill. That is when he jumped in with both feet, and opened Bad Ash BBQ. They opened on February 8th and ever since he has had success. His customers locally have supported him and even informed others to try what he has to offer. With Jim’s style, his clientele has been able to triple and reach as far as sales in Minnesota!

WHAT THEY HAVE TO OFFER

With prime brisket, tender pulled pork, and mouth watering ribs on the menu, this BBQ truck has every smoked meat you could ever crave. Along with it, grab one of their sides to make it a meal. Brisket mac and cheese, smoked baked beans, coleslaw, and potato salad are all on his menu for great selections. Jim is always trying new smoked meats out. Make sure to order ahead while he is open so you get some before he is sold out for the night!
