Mike Steines

Mike, a graduate of the World Wide College of Auctioneering and an Iowa licensed REALTOR®, brings more than 30 years’ experience to Nemmers Realty. He is a member of the Iowa Auctioneers Association, the National and Iowa Associations of REALTORS®, the East Central Iowa Association of REALTORS® and the Farm Bureau. Mike also sits on the Jackson County Condemnation board and is the Jackson County Supervisor. He is part owner of Anamosa Silos, Inc., and is a board member of the International Silo Association. His expertise is in farm and land auctions; and he's built a solid reputation as a home and personal property auctioneer. He has a strong bond with the local farming community because of his extensive knowledge of land values throughout the area. Our clients see Mike as hard working, upfront, honest and efficient, all qualities that keep our land and home owners coming back. Mike is a retired 20-year honorary member of the Bellevue Volunteer Fire Department where he served as an EMT and firefighter. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Bellevue and Maquoketa Chamber of Commerce, and past president and two-time board member of the Bellevue Golf Club. In his free time Mike likes to be out doors hunting, golfing or motorcycling. However, he most enjoys the time spent with his wife Jane, their children, grandchildren, family and friends.
